Rhug Estate wins another three Great Taste Awards



Rhug Estate is celebrating after winning three coveted one-star gold Great Taste Award 2016 for its 35 Days Dry Aged Organic Sirloin, 35 Days Dry Aged Organic Ribeye and Organic Beef Sausages.

Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, Great Taste a badge for speciality food and drink, described as the ‘Oscars’ of the food world and the ‘epicurean equivalent of the Booker prize’.

Rhug has a proven track record of winning Great Taste awards having won multiple awards over the past 4 years and are able to use the Great Taste Producer award.

Rhug Estate Corwen, North Wales, described as one of UK’s leading Organic Farms, supplies premium sustainably reared meat to some of the world’s greatest restaurants and hotels in London and key markets abroad.

The Great Taste Awards scheme recognises the best-tasting food and drink available in UK. The judging process includes over 400 judges including specially-trained coordinating food writers inputting judges’ comments over 50 judging days from May through to the last week in July.
